Couples Singapore, October 28, 2012	Perfect location at the heart of shopping Just a few minutes away from the main rowdy shopping street but perfectly quiet still to rest 8.3 Love the hotel service room. I could make a quick breakfast for myself before heading out to the street and to taksim square. It is easy to move around with the metro at taksim to kabatas and then tram to the historical city! Not too time consuming! And taksim is a city that never sleeps! Clubbing to pubbing and shopping.

Solo travelers Malaysia, September 29, 2012	Large rooms, convenient location Large Rooms, good location 6.7 La Maison / Ma Maison hotel has nice large rooms, although it does appear a bit worn out. It is conveniently located, although difficult to find , as it is located deeper in an alley . The general area is slightly dodgy , although there is a police station 100 meters away from it. Restaurant Tip: There is a great street cafe just a 1 minute walk away in an alley between a traditional bakery, and an handphone shop. It serves a great turkish coffee , which comes with little chocolate coffee beans. Prices are inexpensive. The omelettes are also quite good ! Right opposite is a great Borek (Turkish Pastry) shop, also inexpensive, friendly and taste great. I note a lot of locals pop in there for a quick takeaway. You can buy the pastries and enjoy your coffee at the cafe.
