This Best Western property in the Old City area allows for a truly authentic Turkish experience.

Within walking distance of the Blue Mosque and all the major historic points on the peninsula, the President Hotel is a friendly centrally-located hotel perfect for sightseers and first-time visitors. Close to trams, the nearest landmark to the hotel is the Grand Bazaar just a few blocks away; the Blue Mosque and Hippodrome only a bit further. True to the Best Western credo, rooms and services here are of a reliably �Western� standard � including hot showers, clean modern rooms, English-speaking staff, free wifi and air-con.

At the same time, there�s plenty of culture to be had with Turkish and continental breakfast foods available on the terrace (complete with views) and belly dancing and whirling dervishes offered every night in the Orient restaurant.

Location, good service

The rooms, though well furnished and comfortable,were a little small in size.

The biggest advantage of the President Hotel is its location. Its in the Sultanahmet area, very close to the tram stop and the Grand Bazaar and a walkable distance from the Haghia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The breakfast spread was good and service was nice too. The hotel was able to provide an early check-in when requested. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to the most popular attractions in Istanbul.
