Staff were very friendly and helpful,
Quiet location, great food at Raymond & nearby.

Staff became like family. Adequate room. Lovely view from rooftop terrace.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Attractions Hagia Sofia, Archiological museum and Topkapi palace very nearby. Near to tram line. Also Gulhame Park.

I reserved this hotel based on good feedback but it was disappointing though. The location is good as all tourist spots in Istanbul is within walking distance. Staff are all friendly but the room we stayed felt very stuffy. Our room was in another attached building inside the main hotel and I assume that the building is surrounded with other buildings. Regarding breakfast, as I visited Instanbul before and experienced a excellent Turkish breakfast, I was disappointed with the breakfast at Raymond. Except for location, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others.

Nice hotel with a helpful staff
they cleaned the room every day

i had a pleasant stay in the raymond hotel. the staff were helpful in regards of sightseeing tours (bookable at the reception)and airport transfer. you can reach all main attractions like hagia sophia, blue mosque etc.and nice restaurants by walking (10-15mins around hotel).
Restaurant Tip:
try "balik ekmek" (turkish fishbread)at galata bridge and there are although nice fish restaurants below the bridge (walking time approx. 10mins., ask reception)

Hotels in Istanbul, especially in Sultanahmet, are overpriced. But this hotel has a great location and very helpful staff. Breakfast is pretty good too. For the choice of places on Agoda, this is definitely recommended.

The location is fine, near T1 station, great view points. But the room is very small beyond my preview.the breakfast is enough and the service is good.the nearby cost of food is more expensive than other area.I regret to found all taxi drivers like to drive a longer way between airport and hotel.
