Byzantium hotel, Istanbul
The location of this hotel is fantastic. Just next to all the important sites in the old city as well as within walking distance to the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazar.

My stay was very nice, particularly because of the location and because we felt safe in this environment (we were two lady friends)we enjoyed the location tremendously. We could enjoy the famous sightseeing spots (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Palace, the bazars and other shopping places which were all over)- so, this was a veritable tourist hot spot. Even though we did not fancy the eating place at hour hotel,we enjoyed eating in several other small places in the vicinity.
Against this background I can recommend staying in this hotel.
The weak part with our stay was that the room - although very clean and the cleaning staff was very nice (as were the people in the reception who very quickly assisted us when something was wrong with the aircondition and key)- which was small and therefore not very comfortable. The bathroom was too small and there was no room to sit other than the bed.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Location, as mentioned, which is unique.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. It is DEFINITELY not a 4 stars. More like a 3 stars. The location is great, although you have plenty of similar hotels adjacent to each others. Service was so so: ok, but not friendly. It is definitely not worth the price and I would not be staying there during ny next trip to this beautiful city.
Travel tip:
No need to pick a 4 stars, as you will be likely to stay out all day, exploring the beauty of this city.

Lovely little boutique hotel in the very center of the tourist attractions. Walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. a 15 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar. The room was small but with its view overlooking the Sea of Marmara it felt larger. It was beautifully appointed and had everything we required. The staff was wonderful and most helpful and attentive. On a great little street lined with shops and restaurants. We would definitely return and I have recommended the hotel to friends already
