Great clean and pretty hotel, friendly and profe
8.3
We had a room with a balcony which was just lovely. Our room was very clean, prettily furnished and well maintained. The balcony was a delight and overlooked the busy street below. Breakfast was nice upstairs and the two guys at the front desk were always friendly with smiles and willing to answer any questions we had. They were very professional and were great to deal with. The lady who took care of breakfast also made wonderful fluffy omelettes! The hotel is also well situated to the nearby major attractions with helpful traveller pocket guides available at the front desk. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Sultanahmet.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Choose the balcony room if you can as it was just a delight to see the street from it!

central location and good value for money
close to all attractions, small rooms but clean and adequate,

The Zeugma represents good value for money and is well located close to all attractions in the old city. Infact in easy walking distance . Close to numerous eating establishments and to the metro. The rooms are small but adequate and in good condition. Friendly staff who will help in all requests, tours and transport. No lift so this could be a problem for some. Breakfast simple but adequate.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Could be noisy in summer peak season but good and quiet in the shoulder and winter seasons.

Very nice area, pleasant stay

This hotel is at the end of a great street for night life. Just outside our hotel we would enjoy nargile and backgammon until late night. Lots of nice restaurants were just out the door. The hotel had charm, enjoyed the decor and comfy beds. The Staff was very friendly. Would definately recommend this hotel as it was our favorite on our vacation.

Great location, smiling faces
great location (200 metres from Agia Sofia, 200 metres from Sultan Ahmed Blue Mosquee), friendly staff, cleanliness, worth every penny paid for stay there

i stayed with my 25-year old son 3 nights there. we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff who tried their best to make us feel as comfortably as possible. rooms are small but cozy and clean. there is a catch: standard double room allocated to us actually had only one queen sized bed, so we paid an additional eur per night and moved into a 3-bed room with another queen sized bed and a smaller one. breakfast in the hotel is excellent, choice of food is more than sufficient, but the timing could be more elastic: currently it is only between 8 and 10 am. stairs are narrow and winding, which can cause problems if your luggage is too bulky.
Restaurant Tip:
The hotel is located in a street crowded with restaurants, coffee shops, bars, choice is quite good, but try a little further as well, e.g., near the Cistern at the bottom of the Ordu Street close to the Aya Sofia.

In Heart of Istanbul
Wonderful location. We did not have any trouble with noise staying on the top floor.

Simple room with nice powerful shower and view of Bosphorus strait. The location is really ideal–just steps from many major sites. It is located on a street lined with charming cafes and restaurants. We loved the restaurant across the street sparkling with colourful lanterns. Visited in April with patios full, even though jacket needed. Could be noisy in a front room - we requested a quiet room.
Shopping Tip:
Check out the fixed prices of items in the local shops around the hotel before visiting the Grand Bazaar.
