Reception staff were nice, even if english rather poor. Crappy rooms, small toilets. A feelig of the old communism everywhere and the ATM machines didn´t work anywhere in and around the hotel, we were out of electricity 2 times in the nighttime, no one could speak or understood english and the food was discusting! Really a awful place to live If you think about visiting Ukraine, think again. From the first moment in the transit hall the guards were unfriendly, the taxidrivers tried to get 3 times as much money as it should cost, everyone speak poor english and the hotel offered a nice clean bed, but the standard is poor, no one can help you with any information. The casino had excelent sandwiches, but in other case the hotel was like a 2 star cheap hotel in europe, at the most. Friendly staff in the reception, but unfriendly people on the streets and noone understand english and I felt threatend and everyone tryed to fool me all the time. Go to Thaialnd instead and get the land of smiles.

Service was good / People in reception knew english (which is not always the case in Kyiv!)
Has a 24 Hr cafe and the food is average
Have a good oriental resaturant
Crampy, Not maintained well, very old building.
A bit far from the city, doesnt have much restaurant's nearby.
I would prefer to have this hotel as a last option in Kyiv, in case other hotel's are overbooked or cost more than 50%.
Other than the service being good and 24 hr restaurant with average food the rooms (hotel in general) is not maintained well. Also they charge high rate (even though calling themselve budget hotel) for water, internet etc. Its away from the city center and have not much restaurant options near.
