Maurice C. Couples United Kingdom, July 29, 2012	A poor hotel much in need of refurbishment The room was just about acceptable 3 I would call this a motel. When we arrived we wanted a drink but other than room facilities there was nothing available. When we asked to see the evening menu there was none and the receptionist wasn't interested in printing another out for us. When we finally saw the menu we realised that the food was cook chill so we ate out. The so called continental breakfast was nothing of the sort. Do it yourself toast, cereal and simply awful machine coffee and tea. One of the girls clearing the tables had a very dirty skirt on, laddered tights and creased blouse. It's clear that what little management doesn't care about standards but prefers cheap. On top of that we were woken at 00:30 by the fire alarm going off accidentally. The bar finally opened at mid-day on Saturday but no food was available until 17:30 I wouldn't stay at this place again

Nice clean room, friendly staff-great stay 10 we enjoyed our stay, the staff were great and the room was comfortable. we were aprehensive after the poor reviews we'd read after we'd booked-glad we still went. try it for yourself!! great value for money.

Couples United Kingdom, May 12, 2012	Great location and lovely rooms Near Alton Towers, Good Location, Nice Rooms, Friendly Staff 10 me and my partner really enjoyed our stay at the miraj hotel, we arrived late on a thursday night and we was immediately greeted warmly upon arrival, we was given our room key and went to our room. our room was basic, but as that is all we wanted it was perfect, the bathroom was great with a powerful shower. we had continental breakfast in the morning which was good, a wide range of cereal's fruit, yoghurt's and meats. we had our tea in the black sheep restaurant which is downstairs in the hotel, we had fish and chips which was good. unfortunately we didn't get chance to go to the swimming pool or the spa so i can't say what that was like. overall we had a pleasant stay and didn't want to go home! Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: alton towers is about a 22 minute drive away, it's an easy route and is sign posted all the way :)
