Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

An ok place, decent value for money
Location, Quite close to the edge of Birmingham
8.3
The Hotel was fairly basic and the rooms seemed a bit like flats converted, we had a random house door on our room. The staff were friendly and helpful giving advice on cabs and buses to Birmingham centre. Nothing massively exciting about the hotel. The parking was free. This was just a stop off point for us, so there were not any reasons for a more than basic stay.
Shopping Tip:
Birmingham Bull ring and the surrounding shops are superb for shopping and the Good Burger Company next to the Bull Ring is fantastic!! Get a Bus in from the Hotel, will save you a fortune in Parking.

Good for a night as price was good, quite far out of city, clean, furnishings worn, bed lumpy and deco dated but I liked it, it could be really lovely.
Restaurant Tip:
Ackbars opposite food poor

Value for money
The location was good for me. The staff were great when I was there. The breakfast was excellent, if you like a full english! The rooms were nice, bathroom was very clean.
7.3
Overall I was pleased, it was value for money for the type of room. I stay in many hotels through the year, all around the world and I thought it was OK for the UK. Good accommodation in the UK can be quite expensive. You don't normally get much for less than 50.00 GBP, this was 30.00 per night including the full english!
Shopping Tip:
Your on the Hagley Road, so a bus ride into the City for shopping a nightlife.
