A very up-market, contempory hotel. This hotel is simply delightful. Set back from busy Broad street, it was nice a quite, It very well funished and the rooms are well equipped, I have not been to many hotels that have apple macs in every room. The staff are very helpful will do anything to help you. I will definitely book this hotel again.

Extremely helpful staff, ended up in a twin room not a double, situation was very swiftly resolved, lovely room, clean, quiet. Fab breakfast in the morning, really nice atmosphere. Arrived just after check in time, popped in and was given access to car park very easily. Reception well manned (more staff than customers), got room key etc. Went up, room was a twin (we requested a double), phoned down to recpetion they sent someone up with an alternative room key, and new room (on 6th floor) was perfect, fab big comfortable bed, great iMac system. Went out for the evening, reception organised us a taxi and called us when cab arrived. Ordered room service on return, was swift (if a bit expensive), had a very good night's sleep. Breakfast room in the morning was beautiful, food was great, check out was smooth - no complaints at all!

Nicely surrounded by good restaurants and shopping arcade. All the restaurants that we have gone are great. Nice and clean hotel. Very impressed on the first day of arrival being greeted by a very pleasant lady in the Reception. One of our rooms have water dripping along the bathroom door wood frame causing the carpet on the ground to get wet. Case reported to the FrontDesk on the third day and yet, was not solved (though improved) when we checked out. Cost for having copies printed from room is too expensive for me and the cost is not listed in the room directory. The TV(i-mac) in the room is relatively small when compared to other hotel. The minimum level of TV sound is still too loud, we need to switch off the i-mac TV as a result. This is our first time of stay in Birmingham. We booked for two rooms and stayed for four nights in the hotel. Though there were some unpleasant happenings, the overall impression is alright and we will still consider to return to this hotel if we will come back to Birmingham in the future. I have not tried the hotel restaurants as there are too much choices outside. So, it is not too fair for me to rate it.
Restaurant Tip : Cafe Rouge is great. We love the mushroom with sauce. Strada is great too. I love the spiced petti bread very much.
