Location, view, bar, lounge, staff and the refurbished rooms.
I have stayed twice at The Cumberland and have enjoyed both visits but if you have the money to upgrade stay in the refurbished rooms with a seaview as the view is fantastic.
The hotel art deco ambience is fabulous with an excellent bar which leads straight on to the pool terrace.
I first stayed in the summer, it was beautiful evening and felt as if I was some where on the Med.
I fully recommend this hotel to all age groups and will always stay in future.
Hotel Feature Tip : If this hotel is fully booked do not stay at the sister hotel next door as it does not compare.
