Great Hotel with extremely friendly staff
Hotel is in a great location near the railway station.

The first step in the hotel was greeted with a warm smile and great advice from the hotel staffs. Cosy room with immediate service when required. Hotel location was near the railway and major touristic sights. Highly recommended.

The hotel located at very good spot in Edinburgh, very near to Coach Station, linked to shopping mall and supermarket, few minutes walking to attractions in Edinburgh such as Edinburgh Castle, Princess Street, High Street, Grassmarket, etc.

This hotel was in a perfect location. Just 2 minutes from the main shops, Princess Street and the theatre. It is also linked onto the St Johns shopping centre that you can cut through and is only 5 minutes walk to the bus station. Very handy! Only down point was that we booked a double room and it was infact just 2 single bed joined together. We were also the first room outside the elevators and therefore heard the noise from people using the elevator and also the beeping noise from the button. Overall though it was worth the price paid.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Princess street is right on this hotels door-step if you want to go shopping. I would also recommend Edinburgh Castle and Mary Queen's Close....this was amazing. For the children i recommend Edinburgh Zoo...its approximately 35 minutes but ride from the city centre.

Location - New Town, very close to the Royal Mile and the Old Town

- location
- large room, good mattress
- staff was very helpful in arranging the tour we wanted
Bad things
- the vault in our room was broken; staff didn't fix it yet suggested to store valuables in the lobby's vault
- no free wifi
- the view from our room was onto a large unfinished building
- car parking costs 15 british pounds per day
- the hotel is located inside a shopping center building; some like it some don't. I don't

we luckily got big and spacious room for three, while we are only two. therefore, room is spacious for our luggage packing ;) just one dissatisfaction from the staff who was not so service mind and unreasonably reluctant to have our luggage deposit as afraid of security, though we used to do it before for highland trip break, and we confirm to come back to stay on next day with the proof of booking. anyway, he should be more servic-minded.
