Our stay at the Ewington Hotel, Glasgow
Large room, good aspect, very clean

The hotel was in a quiet area overlooking Queens Park. Our room was large, clean and bed was comfy. People on the desk very helpful with regarding travel into Glasgow. The hotel is situated outside Glasgow but there are lots of buses and a train service just round the corner. Queens Park opposite is worth a visit. Breakfast very good but rather slow on our first morning.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Queens Park opposite, climb to the top of the hill and experience a view of Glasgow

Ok stay for one night
20 mins walk from Hampden Park, where we were going for a concert. Easy parking outside the hotel on roadside, so no charges. Lovely view of park from bedroom window and lovely room. The photos don't do this hotel justice.

Took them ages to come to reception desk to give us our key (11.30pm) We ended up finding staff in the bar and asked them to come to the desk, by which time there was a queue.
we went for breakfast to be told they were short staffed and had to change tables to the other end of the dining room. Not a major problem. But then we didn't get a cooked breakfast, we were forgotten about!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
20 mins walk from Hampden Park so no worries about traffic and parking there

Ewington Hotel is Engelse stijl met lastige douche

Het Ewington Hotel ligt mooi aan het Queens park en is gevestigd in een klassiek Engels pand. Om de hoek is Vicoria Road die je rechtstreeks naar het centrum leidt (half uurtje wandelen of 5 minuten met bus 44 of 66. Aan het begin van Victoria Road vind je een paar gezellige kroegen
In het Ewington hotel is het ontbijt uitstekenk verzorgd met een ruim buffet waarin eggs, bacon and beans in tomato sauce niet ontbreken. Ook in de buurt is het stadion waar het Schotse elftal altijd speelt.
Nightlife Tip:
Leuke kroegen om de hoek aan Victoria Road.

Mycket nöjda med vår vistelse här . Bra pris och trevlih personal. Lätt att ta sig in till city. Dom hjälpte till att fixa taxi som vi tyckte var billigare än dom man tog på gatan.
