Lovely old pub/hotel with huge beer garden
Location near river, beer garden and nice rooms.

Really enjoyed our 2 nights at the Olde Bell, lovely location in the village of Hurley. Stayed in the Bell Lodge (cheapest rooms) which was nice, modern and quiet. Nice continental buffet breakfasts although we were told on first morning that cooked breakfast was extra only to be told on 2nd morning that it was in fact included on our room rate. A little disappointed that this wasn't made clear when we checked in. Good staff, attentive and friendly. Breakfast can also be taken outside which was nice on a sunny morning. Lovely huge beer garden outside, with separate a la carte dining area and big benches for eating from the posh BBQ food menu. Nice bar keeping all the original features and allowing locals to use which is nice. Unfortunately the a la carte menu was the same each day with the lunch menu also being the same as the dinner menu. A few changes would have been nice, each day. We ate on the Saturday night and food was OK, nothing great. My starter was a bit tasteless but main was pretty good. A little overpriced in my opinion for the quality and the drinks were also pretty expensive but nothing more than is expected in this part of the country. I would definitely stay there again.
