Enjoyed the stay. Hotel is a comfortable 3 star establishment with reasonable food and great staff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Lake district is very beautiful in July. This hotel is in the heart of it, and great place to stay while touring around. Also good business hotel.

Good location
Location in terms of access to motorway (M6) as well as proximity to lake District.

We used the hotel as a transit stop on our way from Scotland to the SE of England. As such, its proximity to the M6 motorway was a major bonus. I would imagine the hotel would also be a good base from which to visit various sites in the Lake District. The room was comfortable, staff were friendly and the service was good.
