The hotel is tired and needs upgrading. The menu in the Restaurant was very disappointing.
The soup was too spicy and there was no plain food.

Generally a great hotel, menu a little on the pricey side for some items, and the rooms were starting to look a little tired in places, but a great hotel for the price, and the service was faultless. will stay again

great location for airport and a little gem!
gym, great rooms, great staff, nice food, great location, small spa but good for hotel size

rooms are of a good standard, comfy beds, hairdryer, trouser press, bath, shower, tv, nice bar just off reception and the food was lovely, waited a while but this was compensated with a free drink (so to me shows the staff know they are on the ball with customer services)
would not hesistate to recommend this hotel to people for weddings, airport travel, conference facilities or just leisure
Nightlife Tip:
doesnt actually cost that much to get into Leeds or Bradford by taxi (ok out 20 quid, but not that much compared to UK prices)

Lovely hotel, excellent service and a comfy bed

when we arrived at the hotel there was a mix up with our room and we got a twin room rather than a double room. we rang down to reception and immediately got an apology and our room was changed to a double.
the double room was lovely; really comfy bed and enough space for me and the boyfriend. nice size and fantastic value for money.
the night we stayed inches of snow had fallen. the staff were pleasant and more than helpful. calling taxi's for us to get around leeds and they really couldn't do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. peaceful location, lovely grounds and good facilities.
would definitely go back

Enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, although the bed was only a double which is unusual to find in a hotel these days. The gym was well equipped and the staff there were friendly.
The only problem we encounted during out stay was a 2am fire alarm. We spent about 30 minutes standing outside in the carpark on a freezing cold night. It was a false alarm. While I would expect no compensation for a matter such as this I did expect an apology and an explaination of why when we checked out. I wanted to ask but the staff member on the front desk was clearly more interested in his phone conversation.
We didnt try the breakfast, or the restaurant at all for that matter. So can not comment.
Location is a reasonable distance from anywhere but has lots of carparking and has a bus stop right outside.
