super location, super pub with adequate and nice staff downstairs.
The Worst Italian restaurant you can eat in the country, no fresh food, you can meet the chef at the bar when ever you want!
For the first in my hotel history over 10 years, I could take a good shower in the bathroom. Cheers to the Britannia Hotels to invest on this item in Liverpool.
Restaurant Tip : Go to Gusto in the Docks to have real Italian and fresh food.

Convenient to Albert Docks and Lime Street Railway Station. You can get free Wi-Fi internet if you go down to the lounge/salon.
Poor service and hotel needs considerable renovation. No air conditioning and no in room safe.
The Britannia Adelphi is a grand Art Deco hotel that is in need of much TLC and new managment.
The hotel rooms are large, but look tired. The bathroom was large but there was no shower, apart from a hand held shower but with no shower curtain, water would go everywhere.
Don't expect porters to help you with your luggage. We didn't see any evidence of one.
The lifts had a mind of their own so my wife and I opted to use the staircase when we needed to go down from our room. If there are more than 5 adults in the lift, it won't work and tells you it is overloaded - very comforting.
Breakfast was very ho hum.
In summary. The hotel could be a great experience, but is in much need of some TLC. Services could be improved. Rooms were large but no air conditioning. Handy to shops, docks and railway station.
