Refurbished in 2006, the budget hotel provides 29 comfortable guestrooms and is just a three minute walk from beautiful Regents Park. The Americana Hotel is just 500 meters from Baker Street. Guests are also close to Regents Park, where the London Zoo is located and an open air theater plays in the summer months. Also within walking distance are attractions such as Oxford Street, Madame Tussaud's, the Planetarium, Lords Cricket Ground, the Sherlock Holmes Museum, London Central Mosque, as well as many colleges and business schools. Fairly central, clean, friendly and helpful No frills, but for us it is not necessary Neither more nor less than what we wanted, because our idea was to explore the city and give back to the hotel for a shower and rest. The very proper shower with instant hot water, toilet with efficient ventilation and the room quiet, no noise and the bed was large and comfortable, yet the decor was simple and enjoyable. Breakfast quite good and the availability of drinking tea, coffee, tea or chocolate or an apple a hit anytime.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : In our opinion you have to see Tower Bridge at night.
