Clean, friendly staff, easy walk to the Tower tube station. Breakfast was unimpressive but adequate. Location in eastern London not ideal if you want to walk to major tourist spots such as museums, Parliament, the Eye, etc. Contemporary hotel located in east London very near the Tower Bridge. We used this a base for visiting the Tower, Tower Bridge, Eastbank (the Old Globe, farmers' market, great pub tours). A long taxi ride if coming from Heathrow, but several of the transport services have fixed prices from airport to hotel, so this was not a problem for us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : London tours are available adjacent to the London Tower, easy walking distance from the hotel.

Spotless, friendly staff, large room by European standards, easy check-in and check-out, most upgrades are included - breakfast, free wifi, separate shower and bath tub, satellite TV. Near the Tower of London but most tourist stuff is miles away. This is an extremely nice hotel that is full of good surprises but it is better suited to business travelers as opposed to tourists who like to walk everywhere. That being said, there is a Tube stop and several bus stops nearby to take you wherever you want in minutes.

Comfy bed, proximity to tube and helpful staff. I stayed at the Apex hotel on a business trip to London. I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and close to both public transport and the city. The rate included breakfast, which was continental and throughly sufficient. Staff were extremely helpful. All in all, an excellent business hotel in the centre of the city.

In the heart of the City, a few meters from the Tower of London, in a quiet street where it meets both bankers, traders, businessmen and tourists. The hotel is open 24/24. The reception is very good. The continental breakfast is very correct and everything is clean. Just 2 points on the bathroom that lack of security (pipe wall) out of the bathtub is very slippery and that can not open the window of the room. (air-conditioned room, however) This 4-star hotel is surprising by its location in a neighborhood where living and calm at a time. Once returned, the reception is very simple and good. Nobody does leave his credit card for extra, you can pay cash "at the time of departure. The room was very clean and gave in a quiet alley. The bathroom was very clean and large enough for a standard room. The bed size was King Size. We had the opportunity to rent movies and drink tea or coffee in the room. In a placard was placed at our disposal, an ironing board and iron mini fridge.
Shopping Tip : You can visit Tower Bridge, the Tower. You can go to pubs around (the Assembly, The Liberty Bounds, The Fuller's)
