Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Athenaeum Hotel London Info
Close to Hyde Park, the Edwardian-style Athenaeum Hotel offers high degrees of romance and class. Within walking distance of high-end shops and Buckingham Palace, the Athenaeum Hotel is well positioned to experience both the big tourist sites and the subdued aura of London's bourgeoisie. A five-minute walk from Green Park tube station and directly opposite St James's Park, Buckingham Palace is just across the park and the fancy cakes and teas of Fortnum & Mason are a few minutes' walk up the road. Tourists of London will appreciate the convenience of the tube and proximity to Marks & Spencer, while lovers can stroll around to Shepherd Market's restaurants or hire decks chairs and watch the flow of pedestrians through St James's Park.

Food, Drink and Entertainment
Our restaurant, bar and lounge fend off friendly competition from the Athenaeum's impeccable 24-hour room service by creating their own distinct and welcoming ambiance.
Bullochs Restaurant Bullochs at 116 serves 'Modern British' dishes with a Mediterranean influence.
Award-winning chef David Marshall selects the freshest, finest ingredients. His menu includes organic produce from approved and carefully selected sources. These ingredients include handmade Italian mozzarella, Aberdeen Angus grass-fed beef, English lamb and New Forest wild mushrooms.
Windsor Lounge The Windsor Lounge has a comfortable, country house atmosphere, although unlike a country house, it's open 24 hours a day. Serving light meals and classic English afternoon teas with cakes and pastries.
It’s the place to enjoy a glass of champagne, a classic cocktail or a nightcap following an evening at the theatre.
Whisky Bar The Whisky Bar has the widest selection of whiskies in London – over 250 at the last count. From famous blends to rare single malts, the best of Scotland’s most famous are represented along with whiskies from Ireland, Canada, America and Japan.
For the non whisky drinker we also serve your favourite drink and classic cocktails.

The hotel have a policy that you don't pay for any of the extras so the mini bar and its contents (exc alcohol) were free which was a lovely touch.
Gorgeous REN products in the bathroom that you're encouraged to take away were also a big plus.
The best thing was THE most COMFORTABLE bed ever. So blissful!
The bar is very, very small and means you feel like you're virtually sat on top of anyone else. It's also full of tourists so people had lots of shopping bags which made a cramped space even more uncomfortable.
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived which was a bit of a disappointing start to our stay however this was quickly rectified and didn't sully our experience. Lovely hotel albeit quite small but makes up for it in character and impeccable service. The breakfast was especially delicious although massively over-priced, luckily ours was included in our room rate. A great stay, I'd recommend.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a walk in Green Park which is opposite the hotel and go for a walk amongst the beautiful greenery.
