Great location but the rooms are small. Requested for a non-smoking room but were given rooms on the smoking floor. Stayed in room 410, 412 & 508.
The walls are not thick enough, you can hear people talking etc.
The carpets are too soft and the rooms and corridors looks very run down and the floor 'squeks'.
The lift is small (only 2 persons at one time) and so is the staircase.
The shower temperature in my room 410, is difficult to control. It's either too hot or too cold and the pressure is very low. Ending up, i walked over to my children's room in 412 to have my shower daily.
But for this type of pricing, i can't ask for more.
Nevertheless, their daily breakfast is excellent and the staff in the cafe is very friendly and efficient.
Travel tip:
Ask for rooms on the 5th floor, if possible. It's slightly bigger and newer.Or pay extra to stay in the superior room.

Great hotel flor the pricing
Great Location for food.shopping,entertainment and others.

It was a good hotel located centrally in London.The nearest Tube station was Bayswater station which was only a two minutes walk from the Hotel.
The hotel breakfast was good but to have American breakfast we had to pay an additionally money for it.
The rooms are neat,clean but small.
The hotel staff were not treally very friendly.
The locatin was great as there was plenty of shops and restauranyts around .There were also a lotb of activities around the area.
Restaurant Tip:
There are plenty of Chinese restaurants around .There were also plenty of Indian restaurants around this area

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Rooms were spacious clean and well equipped. Very suitable for large families with young children. Conveniently located in Bayswater, close to Whiteleys, Queensway and Bayswater tube station. Walking distant to Hyde Park! Definitely staying here again on our next visit soon!

This was our second stay at the hotel. We booked 3 double rooms this time - the rooms were in the upper floor and there was working elevator this time, unlike our previous stay when we had to climb up and down stairs to get to our rooms. This time, 2 of the rooms were bigger although the third was as tiny as before. The heater was not working properly and the bath was leaky. I think it is time for the hotel to renovate some of its rooms.

pros: staff are mostly friendly and helpful. rooms are adequately heated and furnished but flooring are creaky and just too many stairs for the elderly to negotiate. corridors & bathroom are really narrow & tiny!
cons: no free wifi in room or even in reception which most other hotels have at least. we were using the hotel as base for our trip to the uk and was thus unpleasantly suprised by the fact that we had to pay per bag per day for the hotel to hold some of our luggage while we made short trips out of london.
