In a quiet residential square off Earls Court Road, this very English hotel charms with all the quirks and qualities of an original Victorian terrace. For a franchise hotel, the Best Western Burns is decidedly full of character hidden up a quiet street it inhabits a traditional Edwardian block and faces a small private park. A five-minute walk from Earls Court tube station, the hotel is within a few hundred meters of at least a dozen pubs and restaurants, plus a Marks & Spencer, off-license liquor store and Boots pharmacy are also just down the road. Rooms are furnished in a traditional, cozy manner and a garden patio provides a nice place to read the Guardian over tea and biscuits. The Piccadilly and District tube lines connect this hotel to the rest of London within minutes.

Patio doors at one end provide easy access to the walled garden. Variety of gourmet cuisine served. Regularly-changing menu features starters such as Cajun king prawns and deep-fried brie wedges; steak, salmon, and spicy noodles. Casual. Open daily.

Decorated with blue tartan armchairs; wood-paneled walls showcase portraits of actress Ellen Terry who lived in the house at the turn of the 19th century. Club sandwiches, baguettes, and jacket-potatoes served. During warm weather, guests can take drinks outside into the walled garden.

Situation of the hotel clean, nice hotel friendly staff

breakfast was served after 20 minutes waiting

We stayed in Londen from 26th till 28 of december 2008. The best Western burns hotel is very good situated (next to underground and fine restaurants at walking distance) in a nice area close to Harrods aso. Rooms are very clean, very friendly staff.. nice breakfast.. we enjoyed our stay every minute.

Restaurant Tip : masala zone.. a very good Indian restaurant !!!!! we can recommed it 10/10

location is good for west london\nconvenience of shops etc. around\nfree internet\nfriendly staff

our room was on floor -1, so underground. it was fine for me, because i just needed a bed. but watch out not to be next to a window with spot light or generator outside

London is expensive and if you save on the hotel cost, you are going to end up in a place that is way below the average standard of european hotels in Europe.\nThis hotel fulfills its purpose. it is clean, breakfast is good, and the location is good. However, it is quite dark and simply not a place you want to spend a lot of time at. But why would you want to anyway... you're in London!\nIf you come early, you can leave your bags there if the room is not yet ready.

Very good location, good service, clean rooms

Although the rooms are clean, they are a bit small. Maybe this is normal for London.

We did stay 4 nights at this hotel. It's location is perfect for a city trip. You can reach the city centre easily by taking the metro at Earls court station. The rooms are clean, but small. Breakfast is OK, although there is not a huge choice. The service is good and the staff is very friendly. We even were allowed to print out our boarding cards at their office for a small charge. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money!
