Discretely located in a quiet terraced street, though only a short walk away from the lively High Street of Earls Court, with its numerous bar, cafes, and restaurants, the hotel allows easy to the rest of London via the Earls Court Underground Station. Visitor arriving from Heathrow need not even change trains, as the Piccadilly Line connects directly to Earls Court. Visitors should not miss an evening in the neighbouring district of fashionable Chelsea, with it's trendy bars and cafes, popular with London's high society, and younger generation.

Would stay again but not the best hotel I've been
Close to pubs/food places

After a very short trip from Earls court station (5minute walk) we arrived at the Chelsea hotel! Our room was down the stairs in the basement and was very small however due to us not spending much time here it wasn't much of an inssue.
The room itself was very noisy from traffic but its London so we did expect this and the room was also VERY hot in the night and we did struggle to sleep!
The cleaness of the room was fantastic beds made clean sheets towels each day etc..
A fault we did have was the breakfast, we went for breakfast and saw the continental option, we was then brought out some toast and when asked if they did a fry up / hot option they responded with a no, so my adivce would be to get breakfast in one of the cafes that are close!
It is a a good hotel if your wanting somewhere to rest your head as the beds were good quality and comfortable and it was only 2 stops til Hyde Park which was where we needed to get too.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a lot of places to eat such as cafes bars your cheap meals and also subway, KFC MCDonalds and Sainburys close to the station and hotel which is about 5minute walk if not less

Great location but very basic hotel
Near to Earl's Court Underground station, near to bus stop going to city centre (Kensington High Street or Victoria)

Our stay was just fine. Nothing special on this hotel though. The only reason we chose this because its near to Wimbledon.
Breakfast: cereals, fresh milk, toasted bread, coffee, juice
Room: basic bed and towel, but its dark inside. little space of luggage.
Staff: some staff are polite and helpful, others are arrogant and feel they are the boss.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
High Street Kengsington - take bus 74 or go to Earl's court underground. Only 1 station away.
Harrods Mall - at Knightbridge underground

near the tube and good Pubs

nice hotel need a little TLC but you get what you pay for close to good pubs and a great kebab shop

there is a night club bar close by where you can get a late night drink

Coming by plane from Gatwick airport:
Take the Heathrow Express up to Victoria Station. At Victoria take the District line up to Earl's Court station. Once there follow as below.
Coming by plane from Stansted airport:
Take the National Express coach up to Victoria station. It is a 24 hour service and there are up to 3 coaches an hour. Once at Victoria station take the District line up to Earl's Court station. Then follow as below.
By Tube from Earl's Court station:
Turn right onto Earl's Court station (direction Earl's Court exhibition centre) Cross Old Brompton Road and you will find Redcliffe Gardens. Chelsea House Hotel is at number 96.
