Chiswick Maron Hotel
Warm Welcome. Free upgrade without request. Excellent rooms. No external noise.

Whilst reservations were made individually, the stay was a reunion by a group. The hotel seemed aware of this and made allowances for our small gathering. The room allocated was lovely, well furnished and warm but not hot. The en-suite bathroom lighting was slightly confusing, but not impossible. Whilst the reservation included breakfast, we were not told until that time that there was an extra charge for English style breakfast. Would certainly make return reservations.
Restaurant Tip:
Chiswick is an area of restaurants and bistros catering for all tastes from all countries.

I haven’t stayed at any of the other Moran Hotels but if they are anything like this, I shall visiting them frequently! The Executive Suites are worth paying a little extra for. Standard Rooms, although they offer adequate wash facilities, don’t appear to include a shower cubical and the rooms are a little smaller.
Would definitely return to this hotel; clean, comfortable and contemporary.
Shopping Tip:
You can jump on the Tube to Westfield London shopping centre.

chiswick moran handy hotel
Very handy for west end. Gunnersbury tube minutes away.
good size rooms and bathrooms.

Have stayed at the Chiswick Moran on several occasions. Mostly all well but be careful if you are booking via a special deals website. They are keen to help at reception but sometimes local knowledge is not good re. buses etc.
In general a really practical nice hotel.
Very convenient for Heathrow airport too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Chiswick House is a good bet.
Catch the tube into London for fantastic Museums and Art Galleries. If you plan on a Friday there are loads of free talks and music to be had at a lot of the galleries, ie. The National.

Directions
Getting to the hotel is simple. From Heathrow Airport, take the Piccadilly Line to Acton Town and transfer to the District Line to Gunnersbury. Exit the station on the left and walk straight along Chiswick High Road for approximately 400 meters and the hotel is directly opposite. Alternatively, take advantage of the hotel taxi meet and greet service (advanced booking required). If you are traveling by car from Heathrow, take the M4 and exit at Junction 2. Then take the second exit on to the A315 (signposted Chiswick High Road). If you are heading from Central London on the A4, take the second exit at the Chiswick Roundabout onto the A315 (signposted Chiswick High Road) and the hotel will appear on your left hand side. If you are traveling by tube, the Gunnersbury tube station (District Line) is just a few minutes from the Chiswick Moran Hotel. Exit the station on the left, walk straight along Chiswick High Road for approxiamtely 400 meters and the hotel is directly opposite. If you are traveling by bus, Chiswick High Road is served by bus routes 237, 267, 391 and N9. These buses stop just outside the hotel.
