Good location for London Excel and London City Airport, right next to Docklands Light Railway stop - no need for Taxis etc.
Great value if you book early through this site.
Clean, modern bedrooms with nice facilities and two good restaurants. Location not great at night and nothing much around the hotel in the evenings - I would choose to base yourself elsewhere for central London and tourism. Car parking is very limited and £10 extra per day. Custom House Hotel has to be the best value hotel in London, provided you don't mind being away from the usual tourist attractions. It is clean and modern, if a little characterless (much like a Premier Inn, but cheaper). It is however great for London Excel (2mins walk over bridge) and London City Airport (2 stops on the DLR).
The staff are helpful and efficient and the bedrooms, whilst standard in size, are clean and well appointed and modern. you are about 30mins and 1 change from Central London. The restaurants are good, but surrounding options are limited to say the least.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the DLR from right outside the hotel and avoid the taxis/minicabs - quick, convenient and relatively cheap.

Proximity to Docklands Light Railway. Good breakfast. Very satisfactory stay. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient, the room was perfectly adequate - good selection of TV channels. My average score given for value for money only reflects the fact that I would not have been happy to pay the rack rate. Through Agoda I got a very good deal. Excellent breakfast, again with friendly staff.

The hotel is just a 10 minute drive from Tower Bridge and a 25 minute drive from Junction 30 on the M25. We are also easily reached from Central London via the Limehouse Link and via the M25, A13, M11, A406 (North Circular), the Blackwall Tunnel and Rotherhithe Tunnel from other parts of the country.
