Basic accomodation - good access to airport

Hotel provides easy access to airport. 'Hotel' was a detached house with 8 rooms. Rooms were small but clean - with toilet/shower shared. I had an early flight so needed accommodation close to car rental facility next to airport. The 'hotel' served its purpose. I would recommend to travellers who are on a budget and need a clean bed for the night

Perfect location, faultless service

Needed a stopover before a flight at 10am from Heathrow. Arrived about 11.30pm to a friendly reception. Room was clean, water hot, free shuttle taxi booked easily. Bed was comfy and the bathroom very well designed for such a small space. Dropped off at Heathrow by 8pm. Very happy overall.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel is on bus route 423, catch it at terminal 5 and get off at 1st stop, walk back along Old Bath Road. Hotel is past one pub and opposite another.

Great location and shuttle service
Close to Heathrow; Free shuttle to and from Heathrow.

Great location, plus the nice shuttle service, makes it a wonderful place to stay if you arrive late at Heathrow or have to catch an early flight. Given the attractive price, there is actually nothing to blame.

I booked this accommodation for the night, as I needed somewhere to sleep prior to an early flight out the next day.
Location to Terminal 5 is excellent with a number of handy transport options.
I was aware that this was a budget establishment and was happy with cleanliness and staff performance.
It's not somewhere I'd bring my other half though!!

I spend 7 days in this hostel. I wasn't in the main building. The main building has wifi(£4/day), but my room don't. But it doesn't matter. The prices of this hotel are really cheap in comparison to the other hotels around Heathrow. So I could save so money to buy a portable O2 (2GB) for £15. Rooms was being cleaned every morning. Rooms are warm in winter times. Free 423 bus to and from Heathrow. The bad thing about this hotel is that there is no supermarket within 1 km of the hotel. But you can use free 423 bus or walk toward end of the Bath Rd where you will find McDonald, supermarkets etc

Easy to get to from airport
So close to the airport and bus service to get there from airport is free

Very pleasant, though the rooms especially the toilet and shower is very small. Its warm enough for winter. Clean beddings. However staircase is narrow and steep for large luggage. The complimentary shuttle service to airport is excellent and the driver goes out of his way to ensure you get to the right place at the right time. Very helpful.
Restaurant Tip:
The pub across the road from the Lodge has a new management and serves very good pub food at very reasonable prices. They serve full English breakfast all day. We had ours at 9 pm.

Not for the faint hearted

The room I was given wasn't even in Heathrow Lodge. It was in some grubby little semi detached house nearby that has been converted into rooms.
The room itself left a lot to be desired. Old, run down, foisty smell, dimly lit by a tiny bulb. No wifi option at all so I had no internet (you could pay £4 per night for it in Heathrow Lodge itself but I wasn't in that building). Tiny tv with no batteries in the remote.
The shared bathroom was terrible. Mould in places and almost zero shower pressure on the shower above the bath.
I wouldn't stay here again.

I had booked a double room but when i got there they had no rooms left so they put me in a single room in a house down the road which they called a lodge,it was clean enough but i had to share a bathroom with i dont know how many other people.but litterlely only 10 mins away from terminal 5 and free transport to and from heathrow.
Travel tip:
Dont stay there,well only if you have to.

The room itself is the bottom level. It is very wide but the floor is tilted....
The room is facing to the road and you can see the 423 bus stop which is in front of the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The first stop of free bus 423 from T5 is close to the hotel.
