Good alternative to a hotel room.

Very good location, kitchen gave us the opportunity to stay in as we have a 5 year old. Would use again, room was in basement tastefully furniture/ kitchen etc. However, no central heating so we had to seek a heater in the hotel. Basement bathroom was damp but not too bad. On the whole would recommend, could do with a bit TLC.

This is not strictly a hotel. They are serviced rooms. As long as you don't want normal hotel services this place is good. The rooms are very nice, the location is marvelous. All in all great value for money.

the hotel was nicely furnished however this was overshadowed by the difficulty we had checking in. we arrived at the time stated on our booking details only to find no-one at reception. one of the other hotel guests kindly let us in so we weren't standing on the footpath with our luggage and very tired young child. we then had to try to track down the hotel manager (phone number supplied by another kind guest). one and a half hours later we were finally in our room. other guests commented they had had similar experiences.

boutique apartment is near kings road, and just 10 mins walk to the tube station. hotel is nice and clean. it has a kitchen and small living room. however, this hotel does not have an elevator. it would be better to request a room on the 1st floor. also, there is no personnel that will assist you all the time. the one in charge leaves at 5pm, so you are on your own. there was one time in the middle of the night that the fire alarmed, everyone panicked and went down. the manager was not there, we have to call him, but he just said to turn it off and that it is ok. he did not even bother to go personally to the apartment just to check since we don't know if all the units are occupied, and there is no way for us to confirm it if there was really a fire. overall, nice hotel and location, but bad service. only if there is someone in charge who also stays at the apartment, it would be perfect.

Comfort hotel in the heart of Chelsea

We were satisfied with the hotel. The location was perfect as it was just 5 mins walk from tube/bus station and convenient for shopping at King's road, where nice shops, cafes, restaurants were around. It would have been grateful if the staff mentioned about laundry room and no make-up service on weekend in advance. I also think they should install safe-box in the room. Other than that, the facility was maintained quite well.

The worst hotel ever

Got to hotel at 9pm. Banged on door for 30 minutes before someone came out and apologized saying she did not hear (probably sleeping), then she wouldn't give us a room because we were not booked. I showed her my booking form and even bank account showing it was paid. Still made us wait. Finally 45 minutes later the manager arrived and said it was a misunderstanding and gave us a room, not before asking me for reservation sheet. I actually has to go to and make a copy for them because they had no printer or copier available. We booked first floor because of baby and stroller) and it had been given to someone else so they put us on 5th floor( no elevator). Rooms were ok but by no means would I even call this a hotel. Definitely not a 4 or 5 star. No facilities on site like restauraunt, gym, business room, receptionist, nothing at all. Basically it's a furnished apartment. I got keys when I checked in and never saw them again, not even when I checked out. I called manager and he just said leave keys on counter. I've stayed in worse places but for the price we paid, it was not worth it whatsoever. I would never go back and if I was in London and every other hotel was fully booked I would rather sleep on floor in subway than pay for this hotel.

Beautiful deluxe duplex on the 3rd floor

spotless flat with all that is needed for a long week end.toiletteries from l'occitane. italian kitchen with fresh juice in the fridge at arrival. but the welcome wine was missing!!!!
loved the vicinity. sainsbury is at walking distance.
the gentleman who greeted us was very helpful and extremely polite.
problem to contact the reception before arrival because the phone number has changed.they should do an updating on their website.
would certainly go back and has already recommended this flat to good friends.

It looks great but doesn't really function for a short stay. Lots of little irritations that made me think it was a triumph of style over functionality. Check in was irritate ting and tedious.
It might be better for a long stay that a weekend but I felt a real hotel would have been a better choice.
