well-located, clean, efficient service, polite and friendly staff, good breakfast

rooms are small, and because there were student groups, the lobby was at times noisy and crowded.

the best feature of the hotel is its excellent location - a taxi stand in front of the hotel, tube station a two-minute walk away and a very nice shopping street also just a two-minute walk away. this is the second time we are staying in this hotel and the service is excellent and the staff very polite and friendly, especially the telly savalas look like doorman who we recognized from our previous stay! and you start the day with a hearty, cooked english breakfast. everything works like clock work, no hassles checking in and out.

Travel tip : Kensington high street - which is only a two-minute walk away from the hotel is a very nice street to shop - much better than oxford street which is so crowded.

Good location, European feel, welcoming staff.

Gym/pool additional cost £5/day, double room was very small and old.

The Kensington Close Hotel London, is a good hotel, well priced for what you get. It has a good location based on the circle tube line, has a European feel and welcoming staff. Double room was very small and old and the advertised gym/pool in the hotel cost an additional £5/day which was expensive for what it was. A good budget hotel with a few luxuries is what it is but next London trip I would favour paying a bit more for a bit more than just the standard which this hotel provides. On the whole a pass for this hotel but could have and should have been more.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Cicle line tube
