Couples Thailand, December 26, 2012	Spacious room in great location Big room for hotel in London 8 the location of this hotel is great. it's very near to harrods. we booked this hotel for a night before boxing day. it is very convenient to shop around in the area especially when public transportation is not available. the room is big and clean. the bathroom is big too with a bath tub which is very comfortable to soak in. however, the hotel building is quiet old. there is only one lift that can only accommodate upto 2 people with luggages.

The room itself had problems with cracked plaster and watermarks on the ceiling which was a shame as the fittings of the room were quite contemporary. The reception was not particularly welcoming and demanded an additional deposit for incidental expenses which seemed out of proportion with my previous hotel experiences. The only plus point was the very good location.

We are very close to Knightsbridge Station on the Piccadilly line. Take the Sloane Street exit. If you take the 'Harrods Exit', then turn right (away from Harrods) and walk up the street until you see the French Connection store. Turn left and walk up the alley ahead. Turn right at the end off the alleyway and we are on your right hand side.
