Situated in the Borough of Southwark, the heritage hotel provides 138 elegantly decorated rooms and is opposite London Bridge. The London Bridge Hotel is 30km from the Heathrow International Airport. The four-star hotel is also just across from the London Bridge tube and railway station, providing easy access to all major points of the city. Significant archaeological findings unearthed during the redevelopment of the building are now with the Museum of London. Convenient to transit; clean and freshly renovated; friendly and helpful international and British staff. Full English breakfast was generous and delicious. A bit of noise from the nearby train station, but it didn't bother us overmuch. While it is convenient, it is out of the huge tourist crush one experiences on the North side of the Thames. The feel here is more authentic London. Short walk to riverside pubs, Southwark Cathedral, and the Globe Theatre. Try a couple of the nearby pubs for dinner - we liked the Anchor and the more quaint George, both were recommendations from the knowledgeable concierge staff at the London Bridge. The hotel restaurant was also quite decent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Be sure to take a walk by the river a bit before sunset if you have a clear evening. If you walk toward the Globe theatre and up to the entrance to the pedestrian bridge across the Thames (known as the "wibbly wobbly bridge") you can look straight across the bridge to the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral. Time it right and you will see the sunset turn the dome gleaming gold.

great location, easy transportation, quick in and out. liked it fine for waht it was. The place was a great spot to bea bel to hit up all of the local tourist attractions. it was easy for what it needed to be. was only there for 1 night so worked out great.

Good and clean hotel with location nearby underground little noisy may be because near station and bar This is my first time visiting London so I can't really make direct comparison to other hotels in London. Overall I am satisfied with London Bridge Hotel. I always use underground while in London , and hotel location is just perfect for this purpose. This hotel is also within walking distance to market and bars . I am surprised many older people stay in this hotel during weekend, is this just happenning in thishotel or also happen in other hotels accross London ?
