Location, Friendly Staff 6.7 We found the bathtub to be quite slippery and had a somewhat dangerous 1/2 door and I took a pretty good fall... no, wasn't drinking. It was fairly clean, but worn and the bath tile work was a bit shoddy, and I just expect more, I guess. For the price it was a great location, near Oxford St., major parks, walked 30 minutes or so to British Museum (we like to walk). Rooms were a bit cramped and on the 4th floor with a big suitcase, it was tough getting up those Edwardian era stairways. I would imagine the suites are much nicer. They said Wifi was only available free in public spaces, but I got it in the room, so that was a bonus. Oh yeah... the toilet banshee. Flushing the toilet let loose a screaming pipe and also immediately dropped water pressure and temp. Found at 3 am with people returning from pubs that other rooms' toilets flushing ALSO brought the banshee in our room out. THAT was fun the first time... Though not unsatisfied, probably would find a different place in same area time. PS. We didn't eat here Restaurant Tip: Walk a lot and you'll find great free houses... Especially Union and the Beehive (within 5 minutes). Tasty Ales and great and/or fun food.

By airplane: From Heathrow Airport take the Piccadilly underground line to Green Park Station. Then take the Jubilee Underground line to Baker Street Station. From Gatwick Airport take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station, then take the Victoria underground line and get off after one stop at Green Park Station. Change to the Jubilee line and get off at Baker Street Station. From Luton Airport take the Thameslink to King's Cross St. Pancras Station. From there take the Victoria Underground line to Oxford Circus Station, change to the Bakerloo and get off at Baker Street Station.
