This stone property has more than 270 rooms of 5 different sizes and all are tastefully decorated according to one of five styles. The styles range from Art Deco, Italian, Scandinavian, British, and Oriental, and some of the rooms have a balcony. The style of the hotel interior is simple, understated, and modern. The Portman Restaurant serves traditional English specialties and the connecting outdoor patio is a delightful place to dine alfresco. The hotel location is perfect to explore the West End, especially Bond and Oxford streets.

Greta location, nice staff, spacious rooms
The locations is great, because the hotel is not even 5 minutes walking from Hyde Park; the staff is nice and always very helpfull; and the rooms are very spacious and very well equiped. The breakfast buffet is worthy for a brunch, otherwise expensive. And the only thing I did not like it is that eventhought you have free wireless internet access in the room, the usage of the computer downstairs is by payment, which for me does not make sense at all
