Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Royal Garden Hotel London Info
Feel like a Queen, or at least a dignitary, at this property where the park-facing views take in the Palace and Round Pond. Prepare to be fussed over at the Royal Garden Hotel, located near the corner of Kensington Gardens, by the High Street Kensington tube. This is a privileged address shared by London's affluent and the services, amenities and general air of the property reflects that. There's nothing dramatic about the decor- light woods and subdued natural tones dominate the rooms and even the hotel itself adopts a hushed, almost anonymous persona. This kind of atmosphere bodes well for those seeking a luxurious London retreat where the allure of Soho or and Knightsbridge's shopping is just as easy to access as it is to escape.

The Tenth Bar
The Tenth Bar, overseen by Philip Osenton, is one of those addresses Londoners like to keep to themselves – a private haven with one of the best views in the capital. Many come here for a pick-me-up after shopping; others, for a drink before a meal at the adjacent Tenth Restaurant. It's a great place to meet prior to a concert at The Royal Albert Hall, and is fashionable spot for locals. It is also a sky-high bar with a sense of occasion.

Park Terrace Restaurant
The Park Terrace Restaurant is located at lobby level, adjacent to Kensington Palace Gardens and Hyde Park. Open from 6.30am to 10.30pm daily, this is the beating heart of the hotel, catering to all tastes at all times of the day. Menus are overseen by Executive Chef, Steve Munkley.

Food, Drink and Entertainment
The Royal Garden Hotel offers something for every mood, from a quick in-room breakfast for the business traveller (room service is 24 hours, and includes a Lebanese selection) to a decadent gourmet feast at The Tenth, our headline Modern European restaurant with dramatically romantic views of London.
The Tenth Restaurant Norman Farquharson’s gastronomic cooking at The Tenth Restaurant is matched only by the view - across Kensington Palace Gardens and Hyde Park towards the capital's tallest landmarks. Tables are well-spaced, occupying a fresh, contemporary space, and the atmosphere intimate, overseen by Restaurant Manager, Philip Osenton.
Menus are Modern European with eclectic accents. It is a constant celebration of flavours, including a smattering of Asian imports. Classic French cooking techniques are employed, and there is a respectful reliance on what is fresh and seasonal.
The Tenth Bar The Tenth Bar, overseen by Philip Osenton, is one of those addresses Londoners like to keep to themselves – a private haven with one of the best views in the capital.
Park Terrace Restaurant The Park Terrace Restaurant is located at lobby level, adjacent to Kensington Palace Gardens and Hyde Park. Open from 6.30am to 10.30pm daily, this is the beating heart of the hotel, catering to all tastes at all times of the day. Menus are overseen by Executive Chef, Steve Munkley.
Park Terrace Cafe and Bar The Park Terrace Cafe and Bar are both located adjacent to the Park Terrace Restaurant, and share the latter's relaxed, informal style. They are popular meeting spots throughout the day.
At the Cafe, afternoon tea is a highlight, with views of the Park. From the comfort of your armchair, enjoy silver platters of sandwiches, scones and pastries, and classic English leaf teas.
Bertie's Bar Bertie's Bar will be closed from the 1st April through to the middle of May 2006 for an extensive refurbishment so watch this space for more information on our exciting new bar opening. Guests will be able to use either our Park Terrace Bar or Tenth bar during the refurbishment.
Head Barman Luis Cobas, who is the life and soul of this enduringly popular address, serves up a wide range of draught and bottled beers and exceptional malt whiskies. Bar snacks are also available.

A superb breakfast, great location and fantastic views of kensington Palace and Hyde park
the reception was closed for renovation but didn't affect things greatly.
Restaurant Tip : There is a superb indian restaurant across the road called Zaika, it is the only michelin starred indian in the uk and is reasonably priced for the quality of the food

Wonderful 5 Star hotel in Kensington High Street with great location and great facilities. We had an excellent room on the 9th Fl;oor and with Continental Breakfast included it was great value.
No real "cons" for this hotel as everything was great, if I had to picky there is some renovation work going on and so not all of the public rooms and bars were open.
This trip was a birthday treat and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Garden Hotel, the room was excellent with a very modern decor and state of the art T.V. entertainment system. The kingsize bed was the best I have ever slept in and the bathroom was luxurious.
Breakfast in the roof top restaurant with views across kensington Gardens was fanatastic, I can't praise this hotel enough and at £140 per night for this standard of luxury it is fantastic value.
The service from start to finish was brilliant and even the concierge insited on carrying our small overnight bag to the taxi rank outside the hHotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : Tell reception when checking in that you are celebrating a birthday or other event and they will genuinely try to give you a free room upgrade
