VERY well placed for theatres, which was what we needed. Nice and friendly reception, always someone "on guard" in the evening, quiet. Cold room, could not change temperature, one lift not working half the time, service in the breakfast restaurant not really up to scratch. The Royal Trafalgar is a smallish hotel, nice and friendly staff (mostly) and very convenient for TKTS (Half Price Ticket Booth) and also for a lot of theatres which were in walking distance. Lots of restaurants available around the area. Also close to the National Gallery and the Church of St. Martin's in the Field where they have concerts. Also Trafalgar Square is just around the corner.
Travel tip : The best feature for me was that the hotel is one minute's walk from the ticket booth where you get theatre tickets of the day for half price.

The great thing about the location! An old room too small and not very comfortable We stayed at this hotel three raz.Isklyuchitelno because of its very convenient location. which can only dream! Around the corner, National Gallery, close to Piccadilly Circus and other attractions, and theaters. This time it seemed to me worse than the previous ones: requested higher floor gave low, the facade is repaired and the rooms look too old , Breakfast in the restaurant was not super, coffee an expressive order failed. Probably next time try looking for another hotel, but at the same place.
