Shakespeare Hotel London Info
Around the corner from Paddington station, this hotel is an affordable option for lodging within central London. Handy to Heathrow and connected to London's many sights by the underground, the Shakespeare Hotel is cheap and cheerful accommodation in leafy Norfolk Square. From here, Hyde Park can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes and London's major attractions are accessible by tube in less than ten minutes. Rooms are basic and secure and come dorm-style or with private en suite. The surrounding area is also friendly to budget travelers, both Praed Street and Edgware Road offer many low-cost dining options from a wide range of ethnicities, offering a change from the standard pie and chips.

room security was poor
I do not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. The room was not clean and overall was nothing better than a low end hostel. The room or the hotel itself looked nothing like the pictures on the internet. The mattresses were ripped and the bedding was less than adequate. Bathroom was small and the room smelled like an old tired building. There was no elevator which was a problem for my 80 year old mother. The food was adequate but the services was disorganized.
All in all, the experience of this hotel was the most negative of any similar facility I have stayed in.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : on off bus tour was well worth the money and time.
$25 pounds but was excellent value.

Maybe your situation. It has the three nearby metro lines and buses also take you downtown (Oxford, Picadilly ...) in 15 minutes. For the quarter has moderately priced restaurants and delicatessens that closes very late at night.
Pequeña.Limpieza austere room and fair. Reception staff unfriendly and without any knowledge of tourism. Breakfast very simple. The hotel serves as a hostel is always full of youth and school groups who will not stop teenagers making a noise all night, impossible to sleep.
Travel tip : Despite the good location and pleasant surroundings, and if possible take another hotel more quiet and cozy, this is a mess.

Services an convieniences
To be honest, it was not so good. Clerks were quite kind, but hotel itself was quite unconvienient. It was too old and heating system didn't work well so it was freezing. In addition, stairway was too narrow to use.
