Sleeping Beauty Hotel London Info
This is an inexpensive hotel in North-East London away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you’re looking to get a few shouts in, the Greyhound track is right nearby for racing enthusiasts. This neighborhood is far more peaceful than the interchange of noise and foot traffic of central London. And don’t worry, you won’t feel detached, the tube station, ready to send you shooting just about everywhere in London, is just a short cab ride away. In the sometimes pricey city of London it’s good to have another choice of accommodation, in a peaceful laid-back setting with comfortable rooms the Sleeping Beauty is just that.

room is next to a busy road
lousy bed, room not modern
overground stops on 23:30, taxi costs 28 pounds The hotel was easy to reach, late check inn was no problem, parking space was full but parking on the road was also possible. Electronic key card for the room was the only modern feature. The bed was bad and the bathroom old. Sleeping next to a busy road is not that easy. There is a continental breakfast with toast and jam. A English breakfast is optional if you pay more.

Quite hot/stuffy On arrival at the hotel, the checkin process was quick and painless.We were handed our key cards and pointed to the lift which was in full working order.
The room itself was decent size compared to the price we paid. The bedding was clean.
The bed was not good as you could feel the mattress springs digging in your back. I requested a room change from reception but i was told that there are no more rooms available.
The room was located in the main building on the side of the road which was not good as it was hot and if the window was open it was very noisey.
Continental breakfast is served free of charge in the morning the times are clearly displayed. Unfortunatley i cannot comment on that as i missed the breakfast due to having to leave early.
There are plenty of places to get something to eat.Take a walk outside and you can find something to your liking within a few minutes.
Overall the hotel is ok but the stuffy/noisey room and the bed was a big disappointment. i found the location very suitable and the variety of food available from ouside excellent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walthamstow market is only a 10 minute bus ride away, well worth seeing if you get the time.

Clean rooms, provide TV, ironing board and hair dryer in the room. Unlimited continental buffet breakfast with toast, cereal, orange juice, coffee and tea. Extremely noisy throughout the day and night as the hotel is on a main road. 20 minutes walk from the nearest tube station Extremely noisy throughout the day and night as the hotel is on a main road. I asked to change the room but they claimed the rooms facing the garden were full for the following one week. As I want to relax on holiday, I would not stay here again.
