The location is probably the best ever! Right smack at the end of Oxford street, a few minutes away from theatre district, can't be better. Nice and clean rooms.
The check-in took way to long time as did the check-out. No mini-bar and the TV didn't work as it should. The breakfast-room was incredibly noisy and badly organised.
As I said the location is unbeatable and the rooms were nice, clean and very quiet. But overall it felt too big for the staff. The check-in in particular was incredibly slow and the area was very warm and crowded. I don't think I'll go back there.

excellent location
very nice staff
could have used abit of heat in the room in the evening.
If anyone complains about the St Giles hotel, they obviously have not stayed in many London hotels. I've stayed in some horrors in this fanatastic but overpriced city.
I booked with Agoda and got a very competitive price. The service was quick and efficient via the internet.
The St Giles hotel was a handful of underground stops from where my train came in at Kings Cross. It is simply around the corner from Tottenham Court station. I was surprised at the quality of the hotel reception and the smartly dressed conceirge and desk staff.
The hotel is very clean and tidy, with 4 lifts and marble floors. The rooms are a good size, with nice touches like coffee and tea making facilities, and the basket of toiletries. The shower is small, but with amazing water pressure and plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable and I had everything I needed.
There was good lighting in the room and the tv worked just fine.
The breakfast room was perfectly normal as far as breakfast rooms go, with a good selection of typical english bf fare and a bar with lots of different drinks, from hot chocolate to coffees to juices available.
It's not the Sheraton, but neither is the price. I have not found a better priced hotel in London for the amazing location.
I had a lovely 2 night stay and will consider this to be my new London hotel. Thank you
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I prebooked tickets for the taping of a tv show during my stay with a site called standing room only. It was a great way to spend afew hours in London, totally free, and very entertaining.

The hotel is very big and has a lot of wisitors. It takes time to get breakfast in the morning in weekends from 08.00 to 10.00. The elevators was not so fast an one of them was out of order. We live in 7 floor and need about six minutes to reach ground floor with the elevvator. The service and breakfast was good. We like the hotel and a very good location.

Good location, only few minutes walk from Tottenhamcourt Road station which is very convenient to go to Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus!
Old. Room was small but okay. However, no internet in room at all. You can use only 2 desk top computers with insert coins or WIFI if you have own laptop but never connected. It was very frustrating.
I staying alone for stop-over so I needed a friendly transport because I had a heavy suitcase.
St.Giles Hotel was perfect location on Central line which is easily accessible from Heathrow Airport and Northern Line which I needed to travel to Kent.
So it was satisfying although room was small and not so clean. But what I didn't like was very inconvenient for internet access. It should be improved.

Cheap hotel with good service and location.
Perfect location in the center with walking distace to the most famous streets.
100 m to Oxford street, near Regents street etc.
I can recommend a visit to Covent Garden and take a boattrip at the river Themsen. The personal with in the lobby helps you with taxis and they are very professional.
