Tiny room even though it was a Club room

Our double Club room was so tiny that on one side there was hardly any space between the bed and the wall. The bathroom too was very cramped. One evening we returned late to find a loud humming noise in our room which had disappeared by the time the maintenance man came up to check it. After much insistence we were told we would be able to change our room in the morning as they were full that night but we decided to decline the offer as we were only there for another night. The noise did reappear a couple of times that night but didn't last too long. Not a hotel we would ever return to in a hurry.

Centrally located but double bed is kind of small.
Centrally located to London Central. Located near shopping district and the subway.

The stay is good in general. With the hotel located near the city centre and the subway, travelling around is very easy. The room is clean and decently maintained.
However, the double club room's bed is kind of small for two.
Other than that, the stay is generally pleasant.

One stays at the Strand Palace if they are Theatre goers and want a centrally located venue. It's nicely maintained with a friendly staff. The rooms are like rabbit warrens; carved out of any available space. The Hotel has hundreds and hundreds of rooms but only three elevators. I found myself using the steps most of the time. When I win the lottery, I'll stay across the street at the Savoy which is about five times the price.

Great location, comfortable room
At a good location, with shopping and sightseeing within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and heloful.
