Was a nice hotel with reasonable staff. In front of a quiet field. Best part is it is near Euston and King's Cross stations

Generally pleased with our choice of the Judd Hotel. The hotel was easy to find being close to King's Cross/St Pancras/Euston. The room was small [we expected this from other reviews] but clean. However it was rather cold [mid February cold snap], and the temperature control in the room didn't work, and it took a couple of complaints to the doorman to reprogramme it from his central control point. I suspect to economise the temperatures are kept low. The shower and toilet were clean. Breakfast was buffet-style and very satisfactory. On the whole we enjoyed our stay, but the cold room did spoil it a little. We would have liked to have come in from the bitter weather outside into a nice cosy room.
Restaurant Tip: Nearby is King Felafel, a small kebab/felafel cafe: the food is beautifully fresh and tasty and good value for money. One felafel wrap will fill even the hungriest of eaters.

Great Location and Helpful Staff

A lovely area close to Kings Cross, restaurants and shopping.

A perfect location for getting around the city. Hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Their big English breakfasts were fine, but I would have preferred some healthy choices on the menu, such as fruit, porridge, whole wheat bread, low fat sugarless yogurt. Their breakfasts are a heart attack waiting to happen. On the down side, the mattress was worn and uncomfortable, and I had to sleep on the side closest to the window or I would have rolled out of the bed. On telling the staff, I was offered another room, but that mattress wasn't much better.
Restaurant Tip: Check out the Italian restaurant around the corner from the hotel on Marchmont Street. Great food!

Great location, nice boutique hotel

Close to Latin Quarter where you can easily find great restaurants anywhere, close to subway, clean

Nice little boutique hotel in a great location. The rooms are small but clean. The staffs speak English and are helpful. The only thing I don't like about the hotel is the half length glass shower curtain. Even if I shower very carefully to not splash water everywhere, it was impossible to keep the floor dry. When/if you book through Agoda, make sure they don't charge you when you're check out. When we were checking out, the staff and we weren't sure if our credit cards had already been charged so they charged us again, and we had to call back to ask them to do a refund for us, which was a hassle and to this date I'm still not sure they refunded us the right amount.

Fine, quiet location but small rooms

Location and comfortable bed

The breakfast could be more imaginative. Would it be possible to have bread other than boring white sliced and eggs some way other than fried. The staff were very pleasant.
Shopping Tip: If you are interested in craft go to Contemporary Ceramics on Great Russell Street just opposite the entrance to the British Museum.
