Quality hotel near Heathrow airport

Near Heathrow airport, nice room, good breakfast options

Selected hotel for vicinity to Heathrow airport - advise book taxi via hotel if possible as black cabs picked up from airport are very expensive. Good breakfast buffet selection. Quiet suburban location.

My friend and I stayd had the hotl for about 10 days. Got upgraded because of the long stay Pros: Clean , big rooms. Friendly staff. Always rady to hlp. Free wifi. Cons: Poor location. Nerest underground is heathrow which is a 10min bus ride. Food in hotel is expensive. Th buffet brakfast is 8 pounds and it is not at all extensive. The english breakfast is 12 pounds

Took a taxi from Heathrow to get here - don't make that expensive mistake (35 pound flat rate)! Call up the hotel and ask about buses instead! Beyond that, the food in their restaurant is incredible, and travelling back to the airport was a breeze.

The only negative about this hotel is that it is not in an area in which you can use your Travel Card for busses. The bus that services this area is extra. It also has a very tricky schedule which changes from weekday to Saturday to Sunday, so be sure that you find out ahead of time rather than waiting for a bus that never comes. The hotel does offer a taxi service to Heathrow for 12 pounds, but the bus is 2.40 if it fits into your schedule.
Travel tip: Close to Heathrow but not located in central London, so keep this in mind if you want a hotel that is close to the classic London sights.

Very convenient for airport and good value too

i will use this again when going through heathrow. not the top luxury class but excellent value for your money, very clean and great for passing through. smallish rooms but with everything you want. helpful and friendly staff. much better than i had expected for the price. i checked out at 5am for an early morning flight, so i can't comment on the breakfast.
Travel tip: you can use the 441 bus from heathrow central bus station (terminal 1-3) or the other terminals too. it cost me £2.80 and i was dropped right outside the hotel. i used the 441 to get to the hotel in the afternoon, but i used a taxi arranged by the hotel the following morning, as i had to be at heathrow at 5am. the taxi seems to charge a flat £12. black cabs at heathrow are more expensive. keep in mind the 441 bus service though if you have the time. check the timetable online.

Good hotel but stairs could be an issue

My single room was at the top of the old part of the hotel, great when I got there but I was sent the long way round through numerous fire doors & a few flights of stairs quite an effort with two suitcases. There was a more direct route which I found the next morning directly down the main stairs but wish I had been told that in the first place. I was told if I need help with the bags - see the bar staff but I was not directed to the bar and it was not round the corner as I imagined in fact I never saw it on the route I was sent to the room. Good place close to Heathrow if you have a car. 3 pubs in the village.
Hotel Feature Tip: Although not far from Terminal 5, the airport taxis will not take you or will quote a huge fare. Ring the hotel and get a number for the local service they use. It will save you a lot of money.

Hotel very convenient to Heathrow. Breakfast was excellent. Nice, clean room with a nice window view. With high temps the room was quite warm and uncomfortable in the night.
