Great location for overnighters

We enjoyed our stay at The Z Hotel. We were surprised to find on our arrival that the hotel had left a lovely Congratulations Card and box of Chocolate Truffles in our room as we had mentioned that we were on our honeymoon when booking the hotel. Our room was very clean with modern décor and a great bathroom. The only downside is that the hotel is right above the subway and you could hear trains running all night and the walls sometimes shook (we were on the first floor).

The booked room was without windows. Had to pay extra to get the room with the window , 12GBP, as well as for "extra bed" as the twin one was too small. The extra bed that is folding bed broke in the middle of the nigt. The receptionist was informed about it in the morning.

First the pros- it's right next to the Victoria Station- which is a BIIG plus- also walking distance to most of London's historical attractions. Also, every evening they have a beautiful wine and cheese spread which is amazing and unique. the con- very small rooms- the smallest I have ever seen! But we did not mind as we would spend the entire day in the city- London has just so much to see & do..

Good hotel near Victoria station. Room is small, there was no window at my room. But it is good place for sleep. If you have many luggage or suits - this room is not for you.
