No major problems. It's a bit tired looking and I was unimpressed by the fact that the double glazing in our bedroom window was 'blown'. However, the residents' bar was lively and the beds very comfortable.

Clean and tidy hotel in the city.
Agoda price was really good. The hotel is very clean and tidy, the staff is helpful.

The hotel is quite far from the underground network, in fact 3 it is in the middle of a triangle, but the buses are about 3-4 minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel staff is helpful, rooms are really clean. The rooms are a bit small, but we came to see the City, not the Room.

all good. only disappointment was that the jacujji was off for our 2 day stay.the staff are all good and helpful and friendly. housekeeping took our only bar of soap on the 2nd day and did not replenish it! loan of dressing-gowns would be a nice bonus.
Travel tip:
Tea-tray in room not very good. You will need more milk and smoking areas not sign-posted.

Overall a 7/10. Decent rates for decent rooms. Food in the restaurant isn't bad but overpriced for what it is. Was in there last week when temperatures were pretty low and the hotel itself was cold - particularly in the restaurant. They put this down to the main door opening and closing but it felt like they hadn't got the heating on full. Same in the room. Decent location in between old st and barbican tubes. Could probably do with a lick of paint here and there.
Restaurant Tip:
Don't pay 16quid for the breakfast if you haven't got it with the room. Definitely overpriced.

The hotel location is very strategic for my bussiness trip, easy to reach as it's closed to the bus stop, surrounded by various restourants. The smiling receptionists was very helpfull. My only concern is the room is too small, no working table. One more thing, the hotel did not change my bath soap although I stayed for a six days.
