With Buckingham Palace on one side and Victoria station on the other, this property couldn't be in a better position for sightseers and monarchists. Located in central London, a few minutes' walk to the Thames, the Thistle Westminster is favorably situated between some of London's most popular landmarks. The Palace is a few hundred meters away and Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are a short walk away, while across St James's Park guests will find Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly. Victoria station is an excellent resource to have nearby as it provides buses and trains, plus the whole spectrum of dining options, from supermarkets to sandwich delis. At the end of the day, guests can retire to US-sized rooms with wifi and plush beddings.

Location, room size and breakfast. The hotel is within two minutes of Victoria tube station and a further five minutes to Buckingham Palace. The room was very large and beautifully decorated, with a lovely bathroom including a bath. The breakfast provided an excellent variety including fruit, cheeses, and a complete cooked variety. The only down side was the size of the bed, but this really is minor!
Nightlife Tip : Pacha nightclub is right next to Victoria tube and is only 3 minutes walk to the hotel.

excellent greeting and service at check in and throughout our stay a great central location for the sights and getting around london the staff at the hotel where helpful from the moment we pulled up in the taxi,check in was easy.the hotel room was comfortable and was not cramped there was three off us staying in the room and we did not feel crowded.this would be a very good room for a family to stay in.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the original london bus tour has pick up points right by the hotel the ticket lasts for 24hours and includes a free thames cruise hopping on and off the buses is a great way to get around and see the sights.they also sell tickets to lots off the attractions at a slightly reduced rate and it also means no queing to buy tickets when you get there so a faster entrance.

By train:
From Victoria Station (Victoria, District and Circle lines) follow signs to Buckingham Palace. Cross over two sets of traffic lights. Thistle Westminster is on the right and the entrance is on Bressenden Place.
By airplane:
From Gatwick Airport (40 miles/64 km) take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station. From Heathrow Airport (15 miles/24 km), take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and then the underground to Victoria.
