Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Staying for one night while travelling to watch the football. Hotel staff was good and helpful in requests.
The breakfast was in a dark basement area and was pretty average.
The hotel is quiet affordable, and is a good standard.
Would stay there again.

The hotel staff were excellent, really really helpful.
The rooms and the hotel was airy, clean and welcoming.
The hotel is well situated, a short walking distance from all popular spots.
There were a few appliances broken in the room.
The unexpected charges to have some thing brought to the room e.g. bucket of ice and wine glasses.
I stayed at the Arora at the beginning of Oct 09 for one night with my boyfriend and enjoyed the experience. Upon check in a lovely member of staff helped to pick out a place to eat for that evening, giving us a map and easily understandable instructions.
We were given a free upgrade to an exec room on the 2nd floor and although it was situated next to a conference room it was lovely. The bed was big, the room was airy and there was plenty of space to put clothing. The view wasn't that great but we were in the centre of Manchester. The bathroom was was a nice size and it came with plenty of toiletries. Everything was very clean.
The only problems that I found was that the TV was not the greatest and at times would just go a bit hazy but this was not constant. Our mini fridge/cooler did not work either but as we only stayed a night it was not a big deal. The bathroom had a couple of faults, the speakers were not working and the toilet seemed to be coming out slightly. I also found it a bit strange that I was charged £2.50 for an ice bucket and glasses to be brought upto the room. I have done this in many other hotels and never been charged for it. Lastly, although not something that could have been helped the fire alarm did go off in the early hours of the morning, luckily enough it was turned off after a few minutes and we didn't have to leave the room.
Overall, even though it seems I have listed many faults they were only minor and I thouroughly enjoyed my stay in this well situated hotel.
Restaurant Tip : The hotel is just across the road from China Town. Definately give Little Yang Sing a try.
