Close to airport and station
staff attitude at reception desk
I am not an experienced traveller . I was slightly apprehensive at having to negotiate the various rail stations and getting to you .
I had booked and paid in advance through Algoda and on fronting the reception desk I was greeted brusquely by a man ( I would not call him a gentle man).
I went to the lift and told a fellow traveller of my experience and the reply was he was received in the same vein even though he stayed with you often.
Travel tip : Shuttle bus was very good with cheerful and helpful drivers in marked contrast to hotel staff
I dined in the asian dining room where staff excellent but costs high

A pickup bus soon had me resting after a six hour flight.the retaurant opens early for the first flight brigade.
A solid,efficient, but not welcoming hotel.
Crowne plaza manchester did what it said it would do.it's ideally located as a jumping off point for you prior to the next day's travel.
