Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Good hotel, good location, clean, warm and functional. however, no wi-fi in the bedrooms which was disappointing as I was a femaile travelling alone on a business trip, and didnt like sitting in the lobby working.

The room allocated to us was good and clean. Room is reasonably sized with all the neccesary untensile for small lunch/dinner. Nevertheless, the toilet is a bit small and the floor is noisy and get very loud when walking in the quite night. Generally, their service were excellence good and Wifi connection was very good. But watch out for the taxi service to airport which was a bit pricey and not very genuine. There are also many restaurants nearby and comparatively cheap. The mini markets also just nearby and quite convenience for sundry purchase. However, the location is bit further from the station.

Very comfortable, great location, good price

The check-in process was so long it took me more than 45 minutes. But the room is very comfortable, with great complimentary and large bathroom. City centre is just a couple of blocks away.

breakfast was the best part!

got lost trying to get to the hotel and it took ages for the receptionist to answer the phone to assist us with directions from central manchester. the staff were very friendly when we eventually arrived and efficient. found the room really tiny and really not used to not having a door on the bathroom! was awakened and evacuated at 4.00am on the sunday due to students from the adjoining block having left a pan of milk on the stove. was then awakened early morning by the cleaning staff screaming at each other from one end of the corridor to the other. breakfast was lovely, although we had to fight with the maitre d to be allowed in even after showing him the hotel receipt with 'breakfast included' clearly stated on it. in short, do not stay here if you value your sleep and a quiet, restful stay!!

Basic accommodation suitable for a short stay.
5.3
The hotel was fine for a weekend stay. The room was small as was the bed and the bar was fine. The reception staff were very helpful. While I wouldn't recommend the hotel for a romantic stay it was fine for a boy's weekend at the football match.
Travel tip:
East, an Indian Restaurant nearby was excellent, as was Villagio's in Canal Street.
