The hotel looks very polished from the outside and i thought i had booked a really nice hotel. At reception i was told i had been upgraded which was even better, until i walked to the room - very poor quality fixtures once you have left the reception area, and one of the lifts doesn't go to all room levels - but doesn't say this.
On arriving at my room i realized i must have initially booked the broom cupboard! The room was tiny and dark, the TV very small, the cupboards were very poor quality and not properly fitted and there was a small fridge which had had its wiring ripped out.
I was asked to pay a lot extra for BT wireless access and was unable to use my own wireless connection even though it was working in the area as my computer would only pick up the BT wireless pay page.
Staff were pleasant enough but a little disorganized at breakfast
