we returned because we liked it so much in 2007
Old Worlde, close to High St, good cooked breakfast

we stayed in this hotel in 2007 and loved the old world charm, its close proximity to the high street and the cooked english breakfast. we returned in 2011 and were not disappointed. would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We were interested to see if the High Street had benefited from the TV programme run on shopping trends in the High Street featuring Shepton Mallet. It appears not. The props the TV show used were not retained and there is very little to see left from that promotion and we were disappointed.
