Very convenient for the shopping in the high street, nice and comfortable feel to the hotel, rooms as expected for a local English town given the price, very very attentive staff, providing a lasting sense of service to their clients. I can't think of any that spring to mind. Perhaps the rooms could do with a little modernisation, but the old feel to the place gives the hotel it's character. It's not a 5 star hotel with all the mod cons you would expect, but this hotel is not pretending to be anything other than a jolly nice place to stay for a night or two whilst passing through. Recommend for staying a night or two before going on a Cruise, or moving onto other parts of England.
