Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. The hotel is well located and is close to all Shakespeare sites. Staff was friendly and the food was fine.
Our room did not have air conditioning, might be hot during the summer months.
Falcon is a very nice stop on your tour of Stratford-Upon_Avon. It has some historical background and wood from Skakespeares house is said to have been used in parts of the hotel. It has a nice food and bar area and a great outside lawn, and patio. It is a short walk to all the sites in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The staff was friendly and drew us a map of how to drive out of town and find the road we wanted. I use agoda rewards points to book a very good rate. All in all a good stop. The rooms were also very large and there were plently of pellows.
Restaurant Tip : Edgward Moons restraunt had great food at medium prices and is close to the hotel. We eat there both nights. Order the Mussels.

Location, cost, polite staff
some older rooms are oddly shaped with sloped ceilings and floors; no lift to the older hotel with narrow, steep stairs
The Falcon has an ideal location near the center of town--about 10 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk from the River Avon and the RSC theaters. The room was clean, the furnishings updated and comfortable. The staff polite, efficient and considerate. The prices was outstanding, especially compared to other hotels. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of choices and was an excellent value. This is a place I would stay again. There are two wings of the hotel--the new modern area and the older Tudor-style wing. The Tudor wing has charm, but the ceilings of my room and bathroom sloped so much it would have been a tight fit if I'd been taller than average for a woman. The floor is also uneven, sloping down from the window to the entry. The electricity is kind of a game of figuring out what can be on simultaneously without triggering the circuit breakers. These issues wouldn't keep me away from "The Falcon," but I would be careful about requesting a room the best suits your needs, particularly if you are a larger person, both in height or weight. I would also be concerned about staying in the older wing if you had any problems climbing stairs or carrying bags. There was no lift that I could see. A person with orthopaedic problems or perhaps some eldery visitors would have difficulty getting to their rooms. In that case, request a ground floor room or go to the modern wing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Excellent location for Royal Shakespeare Theaters and historical sites by River Avon (such as Shakepeare's Grave).
