Cute little spot!

The staff and the hotel ambiance
From the time we arrived the staff here were nothing but helpful, giving us little maps and directions to all the places we wanted to go. The breakfast was great, although not a typical "American" breakfast, and we loved hanging out in the courtyard relaxing and feeding the koi fish. We had a basic private room with a private bathroom and it was perfect for the two of us, and the AC was a nice treat at night to beat the heat. The place is centrally located to the grand palace and wat pho which makes it great if you want to see that. It's close enough that you can take a short cab ride to the subway station to get around to other parts of bangkok. The only complaint I would have, which I don't think has anything to do with the establishment itself, is that each time we tried to get a cab back, they either said "no" without explanation, tried to charge us a flat rate, or for one unlucky night of ours- drove around in circles for an hour before we finally got out and found a new cab. I'm not sure what the issue is with the cabs, maybe they knew we were tourists and tried to get extra money, but most generally seemed like they had no idea where the place was. If you stay here I think it would be best to do a day or two and stay at the hotel in the evenings after spending the day at the temples. Everything else about this place I really enjoyed, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a similar experience in bangkok.

Good stay

Location,clean, comfortable
We had a good 2 nights stay at this hotel which is well located, 15 minutes to Khao San Road and 10-15 mins to many tourist attractions. Our room was quiet, spacious and very clean with good WiFi. The included breakfast was very good. A haven of peace in frantic Bangkok.
